Accounts & Subscriptions

Sign-in details, subscription updates, and moving to a new device.

Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I keep my account details secure?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can easily recognize and a password you don’t use on other sites. Then save your account details in a reputable password manager. Never post your username, password, and subscription link together in a public group, or enter your account credentials on third-party speed test sites. Since account recovery does not rely on an email address, don’t assume email recovery will be available. If you can’t sign in, check your keyboard layout, spaces, and password capitalization first. Then visit the support page to see what help options are available. When contacting support, share only the account details needed to explain the issue—never send your password.

How do I get, import, and update my subscription link?

Sign in to the user panel to access your subscription. Open Account Overview, check your current plan status, and follow the panel instructions to copy the subscription link or import it into your client. After importing, make sure the corresponding configuration is selected in the client’s subscription or configuration list; saving the link alone isn’t enough. To refresh your routes, use the update option on the existing subscription instead of repeatedly creating configurations with the same name. If the update fails, check that your device can reach the panel and that the link was copied in full, without extra spaces. Compare it with the link shown in the panel; if the panel provides a new link, use that one. Before sharing a screenshot for help, hide all credentials in the link.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices? Which platforms are supported?

Use your account on any number of devices at the same time. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. When switching devices, you can keep managing your subscription with the same account—there’s no need to choose a new plan just because you changed devices. You’ll still need to install a compatible client on the new device, sign in to the panel to get your subscription, and import it. Local settings on your old device won’t configure the new one automatically. Unlimited devices means there’s no device limit, not that your data is unlimited, so keep an eye on your plan’s remaining data. Clients for this site are available after sign-in, except on iOS. The panel controls the iOS download option based on your plan status; follow the instructions shown there.

Does anonymous, no-logs service mean I can share my subscription link publicly?

No. “Anonymous, no logs” describes the service’s privacy approach; your subscription link is a credential that grants access to your subscription configuration. They are not the same thing. Anyone with the link may be able to access the associated configuration, so protect it like a password. Don’t put it in public notes, screenshots, code repositories, or shared documents. If you need help, describe the error, client name, and steps you took—you don’t need to send the full link. If you think your link has been exposed, sign in to the panel to check whether an update or reset option is available, then explain the situation in a support ticket. Read the privacy policy for details about privacy practices and data handling. A no-logs policy doesn’t mean you can ignore device or account security.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot step by step, from your internet connection and configuration to the app itself.

Why can’t I open websites even though the client says it’s connected?

A connected status usually means the local proxy or connection process has started; it doesn’t mean every app is using the selected route. First, make sure your device’s regular internet connection works. Then check that the right configuration and route are selected, and that the system proxy or the client’s required traffic-routing mode is active. Try several websites to see whether the whole connection is affected or just one service. If only your browser has trouble, check its proxy settings and extensions for conflicts. If no apps can connect, try another route and check your plan status and remaining data. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what resolved the issue.

Why does my browser work, but an app won’t use the proxy?

Apps handle network connections in different ways. Some follow the system proxy; others use their own network settings or are affected by the client’s per-app rules. Check whether the app is on a direct-connection or exclusion list, then make sure your routing rules cover the domains it uses. A working browser doesn’t guarantee the app is using the same route. If the client offers another traffic-routing mode, read the platform instructions first and make sure the required permissions are enabled. After changing settings, close and reopen the app so it can establish a fresh connection. If it still doesn’t work, note the app name, error message, and current rule mode in a support ticket. Avoid changing several unrelated settings at once.

How do I troubleshoot a failed subscription update or an empty route list?

Keep your existing configuration for now; don’t clear all subscriptions before you know what’s causing the issue. Sign in to the panel and check that your plan is active and the subscription page opens. Then confirm that the link saved in your client is complete. If the link is correct but the update still fails, check your device’s date and time, your internet connection, and the client’s error message. Some issues happen while fetching the configuration and are separate from route connectivity. If the list is empty, check that you selected the right configuration, that no filters are enabled, and that the import format is compatible with your client. When asking for help, share the error text and steps you took, but hide your subscription credentials. This helps support distinguish account status, configuration parsing, and network access issues.

What should I do if I disconnect after switching networks or waking my device from sleep?

Your existing connection may stop working when your device switches between Wi-Fi and another network, or wakes from sleep. First, make sure the new network can access the internet. Then reconnect to your current route in the client; there’s no need to delete your subscription right away. On mobile devices, check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity and whether its network permissions are still enabled. Setting names vary by device. On desktop, check after waking from sleep that the system proxy still points to the running client. If the issue occurs only on a particular network, note the network conditions and what it takes to reconnect. If it happens on different networks too, use the client’s error message to investigate further.

Speed & Routes

Consider location, routing, and the destination service separately.

How do I choose a location from 90+ countries and 250+ routes?

4444VPN covers 90+ countries and 250+ routes. When choosing a location, first check whether the service you want to use requires a specific region, then consider how well your network connects to that location. If there’s no regional requirement, start by comparing nearby locations—but distance is only one factor. Carrier peering, routing detours, and the destination website’s status can also affect performance. For services that expect a consistent account environment, stick with your usual exit location rather than switching regions whenever you notice a brief slowdown. The routes page lists locations and cities for reference; the panel shows which routes and types are actually available. Coverage doesn’t mean every route performs the same way for every website, or guarantee access to content in a particular region.

How can I tell whether to switch routes when things slow down during peak hours?

First, check whether the congestion is on your local network or the selected route. Pause large downloads or uploads and see whether other websites are also slow on the same network. If your basic connection is unstable, address the Wi-Fi signal or local network first. If it’s working normally, compare routes using the same service, app, device, and test content so server-side fluctuations aren’t mistaken for route differences. Try another route in the same region first, then consider other locations allowed by the service. Don’t just check whether the connection succeeds—see whether it stays stable over time. If the slowdown happens repeatedly, note when it occurs, the route name, and how the app behaves so support can investigate through a ticket.

Do the labels IEPL, relay, and direct tell you how fast a route will be?

Not on their own. Direct generally refers to a more direct connection path; relay uses intermediate nodes to carry traffic; and IEPL refers to the use of a dedicated link. These labels describe how routes are organized, not a guarantee of performance on every connection. Your experience also depends on your access network, cross-region routing, congestion, and the destination service. Even a shorter path can run into peering bottlenecks. Choose a route that meets the destination region and client compatibility requirements first, then compare how consistently it works in practice. The panel lists the route types available in each country; a location isn’t necessarily tied to one fixed route type. For more on protocols and route topology, see the protocol reference.

If an AI tool or streaming service won’t work, is the connection always too slow?

Not necessarily. A service may check your account status, region, exit location, and app settings; the service itself may also be having an outage. Keep the error message and identify whether the page won’t connect, sign-in fails, or the content isn’t available in your region—each points to a different cause. For connection issues, check your routing rules and current route. For region-related issues, check the service’s availability and account requirements. If a tool expects a consistent usage environment, avoid repeatedly trying to sign in from different regions. Streaming catalogs and platform rules can change, so check the service’s region availability. Opening the home page doesn’t mean every title will play, and your plan’s data allowance doesn’t guarantee a particular video quality.

Billing & Refunds

Check your plan, data cycle, and order status.

How much is a monthly plan, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day your plan starts, not on the first day of each calendar month. Before choosing a plan, consider your usual browsing, file transfers, and video use rather than choosing based only on the number of devices. You can use any number of devices at once, but your plan’s data is still subject to the allowance shown in the panel. Check your plan status, remaining data, and billing details in the panel. If you have questions about the reset date, include the plan and date shown in your account when contacting support—never send your password. Check the pricing page for current prices and plan details, and review the order shown in the panel before confirming.

How do data packages differ from monthly plans, and what happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?

Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB · ¥358 for 1000GB · ¥658 for 3000GB. Data lasts until it’s used and never expires. Unlike monthly plans, which reset data each month on the plan start date, these packages don’t replenish monthly. Compare them based on your own usage; don’t assume the same amount of data will be added again each month. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Check the order and plan details shown in the panel for the specific changes. Don’t estimate stackable data based on price alone or assume balances from different products will be combined. Review the confirmation details before making changes. If it’s unclear how your current plan and a data package work together, confirm through a support ticket before proceeding.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn’t update after payment?

Supported payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Start the plan and order process from the user panel, and check the plan name, amount, and payment method before paying. After payment, check the order history and Account Overview for the status; a closed payment page doesn’t necessarily mean the plan is active. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, make sure you’re viewing the right account and order, then refresh the page. Don’t submit the same payment again until you know what happened. If you need help, open a support ticket with the order ID shown in the panel, payment method, and a screenshot of the status. Hide any personal information that isn’t relevant. Never post full payment credentials or your account password in public comments.

What is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?

4444VPN offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund policy. Before requesting a refund, read the refund terms in the Terms of Service. Then sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket to request a refund, and include enough order details to identify it. If you’re also having connection issues, you can include the client name and error message to help explain the situation, but keep troubleshooting notes separate from your subscription credentials. Check replies and requests for additional information in the same ticket to keep everything together. The Terms of Service define eligibility and how requests are handled; this page makes no additional promise about processing or payment times. If you have questions about payment status or which account owns the order, contact support first.
